MAMMA’S TIPS
Chickpeas should be pre-soaked in water, as it makes them easier to digest, reduces their cooking time and improves their texture.
To do this, pile the the dried chickpeas in water for 8 to 10 hours. Then wash them under running water and cook the chickpeas for 2 to 3 minutes. Add some garlic, rosemary and salt for a more intense taste.
In Italy, we use chickpeas for soups or simply add them on top of Crostini. Delicious!
ALLERGENS
Our Ceci do not contain any allergens.
